Grief hung heavy over Konduga town on Saturday as families prepared to lay to rest the 24 victims of Friday night’s suicide bombing at a popular local food joint, carried out by a female Boko Haram attacker.
The tragic incident, which occurred around 10:00 p.m. on June 20, left dozens dead or injured after an improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated in the midst of unsuspecting civilians gathered to buy food.
