Back in September 2024, as Gunners teenager Lewis-Skelly made his Premier League debut at the Etihad Stadium, Haaland was caught on camera saying “who the f*ck are you” as a post-match argument broke out and the Norwegian striker famously aimed a “stay humble” jibe in Mikel Arteta’s direction.

Lewis-Skelly got his own back when facing City in north London on February 2. He scored his first senior goal in a crushing 5-1 victory for Arsenal, with said strike followed by the youngster breaking out Haaland’s iconic meditation celebration.

Things have not gone too well for Lewis-Skelly since then. He was sent off, for the second time in his last six appearances, when facing West Ham. He was initially shown a yellow card after tripping Mohammed Kudus on halfway, but said sanction was upgraded to a red following a VAR review.

Arsenal went on to lose the game in question 1-0, with Hammers supporters doing their own rendition of Haaland’s celebration when heading for home. The man himself has liked a social post highlighting their efforts, which could be considered another dig at Lewis-Skelly.
