Recall that the Manchester City midfielder recently won this year’s Ballon d’Or ahead of Vinicius and Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham.
The Spain international scored the highest votes after winning the Premier League title with Man City and helping his country to win the Euro 2024 in Germany in the summer.
As a result, Vinicius and his Real Madrid teammates boycotted the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony.
“I’ve nothing against Rodri… but Vinicius Jr deserved to be the Ballon d’Or 2024,” Ronaldo told Marca.
