In the third day of the Glory Reign Programme hosted by Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie delivered a message emphasizing the importance of focusing on spiritual growth and the spiritual welfare of people rather than chasing financial gains.
In a video clip posted by The Real Church Gist on X, formerly known as Twitter, the man of God said, “When God called me to ministry from the background that I came from, we were told not to beg. Bishop Oyedepo will tell you that if you beg, you are not his child.
Then I said, Lord, you’re sending me to Port Harcourt, and I need money to pay rent, so what do I do? God asked me how many people were in this house, and I said we are 20-something, and God said, Feed these people with my world, and I will bring the money from here.
He further added that, “I solved the problem for them; the jobless got jobs, they were promoted, and the money came. Pastor, stop looking for money; raise people, and money will come. The day you stop solving spiritual problems, pastor, you’re out of pastoral work”
