A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has said the current hardship faced by Nigerians is becoming unbearable.
Olatunbosun Oyintiloye appealed to President Tinubu to act fast and save the citizens. The Osun APC chieftain advised the President to remove every bureaucratic bottleneck impending swift implementation of programmes aimed at addressing the hardship Nigerians are currently facing.
The former member of the Osun State House of Assembly stated this on Sunday while speaking with journalists in Osogbo.
Oyintiloye said while Nigerians hope that the President would turn the country around positively through his programmes, the federal government must accelerate measures that can cushion the hardship caused by the government’s policies.
“Nigerians are hopeful that there will be a positive turnaround in the country, but measures to achieve this must be accelerated.
“There is no doubt that the president is doing everything humanly possible to alleviate the suffering of the masses, but a faster approach must be considered.
“The president should ensure that every bureaucratic bottleneck impeding the swift implementation of policies that will put smiles on the faces of the masses is removed.
“The economic suffering the masses are currently going through is becoming unbearable, and the president must act fast,” Daily Post quoted him.
LeadNaija reported that APC chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, on Saturday, took to his Facebook handle, to call on the President to reverse the currently increased electricity tariff.
Igbokwe cried that his small business and other business would be destroyed if the federal government did not reverse its electricity policy.
