Arsenal have been keen on former and current La Liga players this transfer window.
Arsenal have seen plenty of outgoings this summer but have yet to officially confirm any incomings.
Nuno Tavares, Marquinhos, Kieran Tierney and Jorginho have all left for a combined fee of €8 million, the latter two both going for free.
Raheem Sterling and Neto have also left after their loan spells came to an end, with no signs that either are going to be at the club next season.
There have been many links to players coming in, with several players highly linked.
Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly close to signing for the club as David Raya’s backup.
Arsenal have also agreed a £10 million for Brentford midfielder Christian Nørgaard.
There is also rumoured to be two La Liga players to sign for the club this summer.
MartÃn Zubimendi is nearing a move from Real Sociedad, a year on from rejecting Liverpool.
Another Spanish La Liga star looks to be joining Zubimendi at the Emirates Stadium next season.
Arsenal reach agreement for La Liga star
It has been reported that the Gunners have reached an agreement with Spanish side Valencia for defender Christian Mosquera.
The centre-back will provide competition for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães.
With just two years left of his Arsenal contract, the future of Saliba is up in the air.
There are increasing links with Real Madrid as Arsenal fans start to worry about a Trent Alexander-Arnold sequel ending to his time at the club.
Mosquera has played enough football to be a worthwhile replacement and has two years to develop should Saliba go down the Trent and Kylian Mbappe route.
Arsenal will try to stop it being four straight runners up finishes this season and win their first Premier League since 2004.
They will hope that Mosquera can play a part in their success, should any injuries occur for Gabriel or Saliba.
