The Nigerian Army Troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) have successfully foiled a robbery attempt and rescued two victims in separate incidents in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State....TAP HERE TO READ FULL DETAILS.>>
The first incident occurred on February 11, 2025, at about 7:45 p.m. along the Wasa–Ankwa road. Troops swiftly responded to a distress call and arrived at the scene to find that armed robbers had blocked the road. Upon sighting the advancing security personnel, the criminals abandoned their victim, identified as Mr. Benjamin Yakubu, and fled into the bush.
The troops cleared the road, restoring normal movement, while Mr. Yakubu was evacuated to General Hospital, Gwantu, for medical attention.
In another incident later that evening, at about 8:45 p.m., troops stationed at Unguwan Mallam responded to an attack on Malam Bashir Ibrahim along the Unguwan Mallam–Aboro road.
The assailants, who had ambushed him while he was returning home, fled as security operatives arrived. Malam Ibrahim was rescued and taken to Unguwan Mallam Primary Health Care Hospital for treatment. A knife was recovered at the scene of the attack.
Authorities have notified the Nigeria Police Force to conduct further investigations into both incidents.
