In a courageous show of resilience, local vigilantes and community watchmen in Tara, located in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State, successfully repelled a bandit’s attempt to infiltrate their town last night.
The December 30 attack, led by a notorious gunman identified as “Kallamu,” was foiled thanks to the bravery and vigilance of the town’s defenders.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the coordinated efforts of the vigilantes, combined with their heightened sense of duty and patriotism, were instrumental in averting what could have been a devastating assault.
Community leaders in Tara have issued a strong caution to residents, urging them to remain watchful and keep an eye on one another to avoid infiltration by informants.
