Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, known as Portable, has weighed in on the ongoing drama involving Burna Boy and socialite Sophia Egbueje.
On Thursday, audio recordings surfaced online featuring Sophia Egbueje lamenting that Burna Boy had failed to fulfil a promise he made to her.
In the viral clips, Sophia recounted how she met Burna Boy and how he persistently pursued an intimate relationship with her. She claimed that after much persuasion, she eventually gave in, and in return, Burna Boy promised to gift her a Lamborghini worth around N500 million. However, after their encounter, he allegedly failed to keep his word.
The controversy has since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with fans and industry figures weighing in on the situation.
Joining the debate, Portable took to his Instagram page on Friday, where he criticised Sophia for her demands. The singer claimed that since her father never bought a car for her mother, she resorted to using her body in an attempt to get a Lamborghini.
Portable further condemned Sophia’s actions, describing them as highly inappropriate.
Sharing his thoughts on what he believed she truly needed, the singer suggested that she should get a Guinea (traditional cloth) instead. He even offered to buy one for her so she could take it to her tailor for sewing.
The Zazu crooner also questioned whether Sophia even knew the true cost of a Lamborghini. He jokingly offered to buy one for her but added that she would likely “japa” (run away) with it.
He partly said, “My fans it’s very wrong now, inside your story your father didn’t buy for your mother you are now grown ehn ehn you want to use pant collect Lamborghini, you want to use intimacy to collect Lamborghini and he quickly gave you Lamba.
“You don’t need Lambo let’s buy Guinea for you and call tailor to sew it for you, because it’s cloth that covers the secret of the body, Lamborghini money can be used to build three houses, so you want it to be given to one person” Continue Reading>>
