Armed Bandits Kill One in Katsina Village Attack

Armed bandits launched an attack on Matsiga Ta Kauye village in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State on Tuesday, killing a 25-year-old resident, Zailani Idris....TAP HERE TO READ THE FULL STORY..>>

Witnesses said the attackers, numbering several, stormed the village around 2:45 p.m. and shot Idris before fleeing into the bush.

A joint security team comprising police operatives, Community Watch members, and local vigilantes were deployed to the scene in response to the attack. However, the bandits had already escaped.

The victim’s body was evacuated to the General Hospital in Kankara and subsequently handed over to the family for burial.
