The reform is designed to help young Nigerians by providing training and connecting them to private sector opportunities. The goal is to ensure that the skills participants learn lead to real jobs or business opportunities.
Over 100,000 empowerment items have been distributed nationwide to support the program.
President Tinubu has approved ₦32.7 billion to fund the National Social Investment Program (NSIP) in 2025.
Low-interest loans of ₦300,000 to ₦400,000 will be available through cooperative clusters.

The updated program aims to help vulnerable groups, especially women and youth, by providing support to start or grow small businesses.
