Nigerian Senate President Godswill Akpabio met with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike at the latter’s Asokoro, Abuja residence on Wednesday.
The purpose of the meeting is yet to be known.
This meeting comes on the heels of a recent visit to Wike with the Senator Adolphus Wabara-led Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday night.
It should be recalled that in August, the BoT had written to Wike, seeking a meeting to resolve the lingering crisis in the party, especially in Rivers State, days after meeting with the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
