The Pakistan South Africa Association (PSAA) donated 15 Aqua Tanks, along with blankets and shoes, to the Adams Mission Public Library on Sheleni Road, south of Durban, to support the local community.
Images shared by the organisation showed ANC banners displayed at the donation event, while the association said the initiative aimed to provide clean water and essential assistance.

According to the PSAA, the donation included 15 Aqua Tanks, blankets and shoes for community members. The organisation said, “Together, we are helping provide clean water and essential support to those in need.” The donation was announced by Faried Khan Lodhi, the Central Secretary General of the Pakistan South Africa Association.
The event comes weeks after the association made headlines in June 2026 when it launched a voter registration campaign targeting naturalised South African citizens of Pakistani origin.

The campaign encouraged eligible voters to support the ANC in the upcoming municipal elections and sparked criticism and debate on social media and in political circles.
The latest community donation has again drawn attention to the Pakistan South Africa Association because ANC banners were visible at the event.

While the organisation described the initiative as humanitarian support for the local community, its previous political campaign remains part of the broader public discussion surrounding the association.
