An student of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko Ondo State (AAUA) reportedly sent his completed final-year project to his supervisor for review, only to receive an unexpected instruction.
LeadNaija News learnt that the supervisor reportedly told the student to take the completed project to the Ondo State Governor’s office for approval, apparently in response to the ongoing industrial action by lecturers and the unresolved issues between the university’s ASUU chapter and the state government.
Recall that ASUU , AAUA Chapter is currently on strike over the reported non-implementation of the new salary structure, which took effect in January 2026, as well as outstanding salary arrears dating back to January.
At this rate, students may soon be submitting their projects to the Governor instead of their supervisors.
