BREAKING: Keyamo Gives Peter Obi 7-Day Ultimatum to Pay ₦25,000 Airport Fine or Face FAAN Action

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has given the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, a seven-day ultimatum to return to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and pay a ₦25,000 parking violation fine, warning that failure to comply will trigger enforcement action by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

The directive follows an internal investigation ordered by the minister into Obi’s allegation that his vehicle was unjustly clamped as part of political persecution.

Keyamo said CCTV footage from the airport contradicts Obi’s claims, insisting the vehicle was lawfully clamped after it was left unattended in a restricted drop-off zone for about 30 minutes, posing a security risk.

He also demanded a public apology from Obi for what he described as the unfair portrayal of airport officials carrying out their lawful duties.
