Arsenal could increase their summer budget by at least £90million if players such as Gabriel Jesus and Ben White are offloaded. The Gunners have secured Piero Hincapie and Illan Meslier on permanent transfers with Christos Tzolis poised to become the third new arrival.

Arsenal have invested £68.5m so far and Mikel Arteta will also seek to trim down his squad. Leandro Trossard has already left north London, moving to Besiktas for £15.3m.

Jakub Kiwior has also departed, generating £14m following a successful loan spell at Porto that triggered a permanent transfer. The Gunners could strengthen their finances further with four additional transactions in the pipeline.

Gabriel Jesus has been linked with a potential departure in recent weeks as the striker has just 12 months remaining on his deal. The Brazilian ranks among the highest-paid players in north London despite a recent shortage of playing time owing to injuries.

The Athletic reports that the club values Jesus between £18m and £20m with Serie A outfit AC Milan having expressed interest. Calciomercato suggested that both parties could finalise a deal for approximately £16m with separate reports indicating that the Italian side are in discussions.

Fellow Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli is also attracting transfer interest from several clubs, with Calciomercato reporting that Manchester United, Newcastle and Bayern Munich are all keeping tabs on the winger. It is understood that the Gunners will sanction a sale for £42.6m as they await the arrival of new signing Tzolis to fill his boots.

Experienced defender Ben White is another Arsenal figure touted for a departure. The 28-year-old managed just 12 Premier League appearances last season, with Jurrien Timber emerging as the preferred option at right-back.

Arsenal are believed to be holding out for a minimum of £25m for White, with Everton said to be keen on securing his signature. However, injuries to both Timber and William Saliba could scupper those plans, with the right-back likely to be called upon in the near term.

Finally, Christian Norgaard could net Arsenal an additional £4.2m. The Mail reports that Crystal Palace are weighing up a move for the 32-year-old midfielder.

It is suggested that Norgaard’s Premier League experience could bolster the Eagles’ midfield. The defensive midfielder is valued at around £4.2m and could be available at a reasonable price given that his contract is set to expire next summer.
