Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has reportedly died after battling stage-four cancer.

The reported death comes just days after his daughters, Lima and Kira Taiwo, publicly appealed for urgent medical assistance for their father.
Earlier reports of his death on August 18 had been dismissed by the family as false. However, fresh reports on Sunday, August 23, say the veteran actor has now passed away while receiving treatment.
Ogogo, 66, was one of the most recognisable faces in the Yoruba film industry, with a career spanning several decades as an actor, producer, director and filmmaker.
