Paris Saint-Germain have reached a verbal agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Belgian winger Mika Godts in a package worth €55 million, according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The agreement follows a new official bid from the French champions, with the two clubs now understood to have reached a verbal pact over the transfer.
However, formal documents have yet to be exchanged, meaning the deal has not officially been completed.
PSG Agree €55m Package for Godts
Romano reported that PSG’s latest proposal was accepted by Ajax, with the overall package understood to be worth €55 million.
The agreement represents a major development in PSG’s pursuit of the young Belgian attacker, following negotiations that began earlier in the summer.
Reports indicate that PSG’s interest in Godts dates back to July, when the club opened talks with Ajax over a potential transfer.
The latest development now puts the French club significantly closer to securing the winger.
Documents Still Pending
Despite the verbal agreement, the transfer is not yet officially completed.
The clubs still need to exchange and complete the necessary documentation before the move can be formally announced.
Godts is regarded as one of Ajax’s important young attacking players and has attracted significant attention during the transfer window.
The Belgian winger’s reported move to PSG would represent a major step in his career and another significant transfer involving Ajax.
