Osun Election 2026: Uzodimma, Uba Sani Arrive for Oyebamiji Rally

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Uba Sani of Kaduna State and other governor elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have arrived in Osun State ahead of the party’s final campaign rally for its governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.

The final campaign rally is scheduled to hold on Thursday, just two days before the Osun governorship election.

The arrival of the APC governors comes as the party makes its final push to mobilise support for Oyebamiji ahead of Saturday’s poll.

The rally is expected to bring together senior APC leaders, governors, party stakeholders, supporters and other political figures as the party concludes its campaign activities in the state.

Akpabio Expected to Represent Tinubu

Senate President Godswill Akpabio is expected to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the APC’s final campaign rally.Vice-President Kashim Shettima, who had earlier been scheduled to attend the event, is currently on a two-week leave and is therefore not expected to be present.

The participation of senior APC leaders and governors comes as the party enters the final phase of its campaign ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
